Wow, you all, this is a trip and a half! Thank you so much for putting in all the time and effort on this great site. I was born on W.24th St. in 1951 and I remember the old neighborhood so well. I got to this site looking for Astrid Pudans from my class at Shortlige and voila, there she is on the first page! Though I currently live in Ireland and I lived in NYC for 20 yrs., I've never forgotten how fortunate we all were to have grown up in such a great city neighborhood. It was so nice browsing this site. I graduated high school in '68 so I'm a little older than most. Rose, I know the other girls name in our picture on the playground. Her name was Nancy Dickerson and she lived between 13th and 14th on Market St. She probably would have graduated in '68 as well. Thanks for getting in touch. You've done a great job.
